Dry Skin Mud Mask - Made with Australian Red Clay for soft and healthy skin. This mask is perfect for any skin type but really does help anyone with dry or maturing skin. I am getting older (yes I own up to it) and with that I find my skin is changing. I use to have very oily skin but as I get older it is becoming more dry. To bring back that youthful glow and make my face just feel amazing I created this special recipe for my mud mask.
If you have oily skin use just a touch of water to get the mask to the consistency you prefer. For dry or mature skin you can use water or your favorite oil. In the winter I often mix mine with a little sweet almond oil for added moisture. Australian Red clay is full of iron and minerals that are super good for your skin, it is an oily clay with a gentle absorbent action. The high iron oxide content enhances your skin condition and appearance. It tightens pores and revitalizes the face. Bentonite Clay has been known to unclog pores, helps control oil, draws toxins out of the skin. It can help make the skin softer and can produce a nice glow. Kaolin Clay has been known to sooth sensitive skin and cleanses the skin.
Coconut Milk has been known to have high levels of Vitamin C which helps maintain elasticity and flexibility of skin. It is also rich in copper, and prevents wrinkles, sagging skin and age spots. Each 4 ounce jar comes it its own scoop. Just put 3 or 4 scoops in a small bowl and mix the powder with your choice of water or oil. You get to decide if you want a thick mask or a thin mask, based on how much liquid you put in. Spread it on your face and wait until it is completely dry, then rinse. Follow with your favorite moisturizer.
